Do you have any factory ammo to put thru her? Does she work with factory stuff or not at all? Wish you were in the states so you could send me at least the receiver so I could work on it. I've had pretty good luck making some of the clunkers I've owned work again, and your's is not a clunker. Got to be something simple that we are all missing.

"The barrel does not come back with the breech bolt under recoil, and the breech bolt only comes back maybe 1" max then slams back shut."
Once you have absolutely confirmed that the is unloaded and empty, a quick test of the action can be performed by standing the rifle upright and using a cleaning rod to push the bolt to the rear. If all is OK you will be able to push the bolt (and the barrel) almost all the way to the rear. Hold pressure on the rod, reach down and push the operating handle back about another 1/4 inch. The bolt should lock to the rear, and the barrel should return fully forward.
If the barrel will move back only about 1 to 1 1/2 inches, then the recoil-spring case (inside the jacket) has been installed backwards. This is a common problem. You will have to remove the barrel-nut, jacket bushing, and barrel-nut washer, then take out the recoil-spring, the recoil-spring case, and the buffer spring. If you haven't already, this would be a good time to apply a light coat of oil to the inside of the jacket and the outside of the barrel.
When reassembling, remember the heavy, short buffer-spring goes in first, then the recoil-spring case (with the larger, open end toward the muzzle), then the recoil spring.
Hope this helps, Jim

Hi Jim, Been a while since I stopped by here, thanks for that detailed advice. I held the gun last night showing a friend but have not shot it in over a year now, what a shame.
If I remember the bolt goeas all teh way back like it should, as you mentioned. Still just need to tear it down and look at the guts of the barrel. I'll double check tho.
Cheers!

Having same problem with my 25 Remington bought some 117 grain soft point reloads from a reputable company, jamison brass, necked down from 30 Remington. They shot fine however stick in the enjector will not eject causing the next shell to try and feed and stove pipe, jaming the action. Also causes the spent primer to push back in the brass, don't know if the powder is to slow a burning powder, wrong primers or brass, weapon is clean and never had this problem before. Anyone experienced this before or have some information that will help me solve this problem.
