bought a nice 1910 in fort worth saturday. came with the magazine and a complete box of peters .401 shells. old carboard box with lots of miles on it. anyone know value of the ammo ? age ? son and son-in-law want to go shoot it. have 30 rounds that came with the rifle- the complete box of peters ammo and a "stripper" with additional 10 rounds. asked them how they plan of getting more ammo !!! wife likes the rifle, as she is a winchester collector. only the second one i have seen. told her she has something that not many people own. hid it in her gun safe shortly thereafter.
any comments about the weapon/ammo would be appreciated.

Pictures must not have loaded. Love to see the cartridge box. Does it look like this?

Another dealer in obsolete ammo is this one gadcustomcartridges.com/$30 for 20 rounds of .401WSL sounds nice, probably won't ship to Sweden though.
