In searching for brass for my three Winchester Self Loaders in 3 of the 4 calibers, I have discovered two things: Brass is hard to find and also expensive. I have talked to Quality Cartridge and they advise that they will run all four calibers late this year or early 2013 as soon as they get the material from their supplier. For myself i will backorder the 3 calibers I need. I am wondering if there is any interest in a group buy. You all can order it for youselves as easily as I can for myself, but if we throw in together we may be able to get a slight discount. If any interest, post here and I will check back for the next week or so on a daily basis. If no interest, I'll place my order and hurry up and wait

jrlesan, I am surprised that no one has piped up. .351 is definitely the most needed for those not willing to make brass, due to the significantly greater numbers of these rifles. I have all four of the calibers and have shot the .32WSL and .351WSL, but need to get off my rear end and get some bullets to load my .401, since I have plenty of Fiocchi brass and finally located berdan primers. I also picked up a .35WSL a few months ago and will just shorten the 5.56mm brass that I use for the .351. I will not recommend making your own brass for any of these calibers unless you are willing to spend a lot of time cussing. The only one that is not a trouble-maker is the .32WSL since I use .30 Carbine brass and it fire-forms nicely. I will sit in the shadows and see if they come through, but cost may be the biggest deterrent. Good luck.

I did, and never heard a peep from them. I just placed a back-order for 1K .360 Dan Wesson cases after realizing it should work for .351 after you reduce the rim size. This is one of those situations where they take orders until they can warrant a run. Take a look at the case specs, this parent case is the least amount of work to alter. I would still buy brass if they made it, but for now this might be the best alternative.

Captech Internation currently has 351 brass, i just purchased 200 case. It was somewhat expensive but they had it in stock. 200 cases with shipping was just under $271. Hope this helps.

not to many chioces for wsl brass in canada Bertram at $2 a case or dead stock Jamison also $1.50 to 2 a case .I picked up 7 bags of rem 357 max brass and cut up 700 pcs of the 351 ,so I should be set now be set or my lifetime now LOL.
Best lathe for this project is the old unimat 1000 as they are small and strong enough to do the job .Using a full size lathe gets old very fast .The little lathe took about 8 hours to acomplish and the brass was $240 for the 700 pcs ,so all in all not bad and a sturdier brass in the end

Took just a year almost to the day to get .351 brass from Quality Cartridge. Cost was just a dollar and a few cents each. I have yet to try any. My .401 brass arrived last April and I am still waiting on the 2 1905 calibers.

I found a half dozen or so 50 round bags of what looks like new, unfired, primed REM-UMC .351 WSL cases at Ron Peterson's in Albuquerque. They were $50/bag.

Starline has .360 Dan Wesson brass available. The .360 DW is the .357 Maximum shortened to 1.415" with the same thicker web area. Easily converted to .351SL. As far as the .35SL, why can't you use .38 Special brass?

.38 spl brass works fine for making 35 wsl. I did a post on it in the reloading section.
