Hello, my name is Mike and I have an addiction. I collect Winchester 1907 and 1910 rifles. Right now I have 9 of the 1907 and 2 of the 1910's.

Welcome Mike, glad to have you. I understand your problem. And I don't think I'm going to be any help with it. I have one 1907 and one 1910. Do you reload .401?

Haven't got into reloading them yet. I have only shot one of my 1907's once. None of the 1910's yet.

Mike, WOW NINE 1907's!!!! and I thought I had a problem with duplicates! I bow and grovel before you master. All kidding aside, I am still working on a cheaper way to feed these dang things, when it comes to brass. I have 900 rounds of .401 brass (for my now, only one, 1910) and have to get off my rear end and get some bullets. The .351 is being a bit of a pest for a cheap alternative, but my friend and I are working to try using .223/5.56 brass, but there is a lot of variation in case wall thickness. Unless I am missing something, unfortunately, there are not too many variations on these rifles, such as a carbine or longer barrel. I need to find some beaters to create some kind of oddball variant just to mess with people. I am currently looking to make an 1873 short rifle with a 17" or 18" barrel in .22 cal just to stir the pot. I happen to like causing a commotion when I bring my stuff to the range (the evil squirrels at work). Do you have any unusual features on your selection of 1907's ? They are such a neglected and ignored model, that there is not much info running around. Even the book by Madis has very little to say about them. We all will look forward to any info that you can share and welcome to the forum.

All my guns are stock configurations. Most are from police departments or Prisons around the country. One I am trying to sell have had the forearm changed with a newer style, it doesn't match the butt stock.

fullauto45, If the mismatch is in shooter condition and the price is reasonable, I will pass the info on to my friend, who is currently straddling the fence on whether or not to buy one. Send me an e-mail if it would fit the bill, shawmarkd@gmail.com. I have my hands full with what I have, but if I catch wind of an inexpensive .35 cal 1905, I may have to round out the group. Oh what a wonderful sickness!
