Talo Dist. Ruger Race Rifle .22LR w/ Nikon Buckmasters 6x18
Finally took this rifle to our range and after dialing the scope in shot some decent groups. I tested 3 different brands of ammunition: Federal 36gr. copper plated hollow points, Winchester 40gr. round nose, and Remington Target Eley 40gr. round nose. The best groups (under 1") were from Federal and the largest groups were from Remington Eley. This rifle has the standard 10/22 trigger.
All groups were shot from sandbags at 100 yards.

Very nice range set-up you have there! Any .22 rimfire that will put 'em into less that one inch at 100 yards is a good one.
My Kimber Hunter loves Wolf Match Target ammo. I'd be interested in how your Ruger shoots it.
