I'm new here and just wanted to say hello. I've recently been bitten by the Remington 14-14 1/2 bug as well as the Winchester model 07 bug. I have all the Pederson Remingtons a model 12C, a model 25 in 32-20, a model 14 in 35 Rem and a 14 1/2 in 44-40. I load for them all, they have mint bores and all shoot well. I just got a minty Win 07 made in 1909 and I also just found another made in 1910. It has been nicely refinished, has some minor pitting in the grooves, but for some reason has brand new police style(thick) wood on it. Go figure. I have already got dies, brass and bullets for the 351 and just put 40 rounds together and am waiting for nice weather so I can try them out. I will monitor this forum frequently. Feel free to email me. rhabraham@owc.net

Welcome gastrap, nice to have you as a member of the board. I really like the 14 1/2 too. But they're too rich for my blood right now. My favorite is the 14 1/2 R carbine in .44-40.

Yes 14 1/2's are a little pricey, but do you have a 25? I had never seen one or heard of them until one came to my table at a local show. I had at least seen a 14 1/2 at a friends house. 25's might be rarer. What do you think?

They're both equally rare in my book. I hardly ever see either, and it's strange, but if I see one at a gunshow, I'm very likely to see the other one there too. I remember years ago seeing a guy walk around a gun show in Lubbock with a minty 25. He let me hold it. Awesome looking little rifle. I have my grandfather's 12C. Love it. Love, Remingtons in general. Especially the old ones.
