I just picked up an FN 1900 and 6 Remington 8's and 81's
For the life of me, I can't find the caliber markings on the 1900 to see what cartridge it takes. I'm guessing 35 Rem. by the bore, but want to be certain.

Could one of you please let me know where to look for it?
Many thanks in advance...

Congrats on your purchase. The 1900 is 35 Rem the same as the 9 m/m it's marked... it's the only caliber they made the 1900 in.

Thanks so much for the info. I thought it might be, but just wanted to be certain. I thought this was the place to ask since a good friend of mine is my resident expert on the 14's and 141's TomH.
I'm not a collector though so I won't be keeping these. They most likely will be heading to Gunbroker as soon as I figure out a few more details on them and what they might be worth.
Thanks so much for your assistance...... Duck

Duck, Wow, quite a score. If one of those Remingtons is in rough condition, I am looking for an affordable shooter. I tend to gravitate toward the basket cases no-one loves. If yours are in nice condition then I guess I am out of luck. I just discovered this forum and it is great, you will likely find the right people to give you info and what stuff is worth. Send me an email if you might have a candidate. shawmarkd@gmail.com Thanks

Congrats Duck! There's a 1900 for sale on Gunbroker for over $2k - ends in a couple of hours - too rich for my blood but I'd love to have one someday.
