The photo is from a recreation of the shooting. Ted Hinton, with a BAR is on the left, the other man, with the model 8, is Dallas deputy Bob Alcorn. Hamer would have nothing to do with publicizing his role in the shooting. He rarely spoke about it, and declined interviews. When a fellow at a carnival where the car was displayed described the shooting in graphic detail, Hamer stepped up out of the audience, knocked the man to the ground and warned him "...Never use my name in public again!" One tough hombre

If anyone is interested in seeing footage of this recreation, as well as some grainy footage of the scene immediately after the shooting, excerpts are featured in the HISTORY CHANNEL Biography of Bonnie & Clyde. This feature is included in the two-disc set of the DVD of BONNIE & CLYDE (1967)
