I've been trying to get one of these made for about four months or so and things are starting to look up. I've received the gun back with the comp and it's beautiful. The forearm was alot harder than anyone imagined but hopefully that will be in my hands by Xmas. But I can't wait to show the progress so far. Please note that I am posting this at a variety of places so if you've seen this before then I apologize. For some history about these weapons, enter "Hyman Lebman San Antonio" into Google search. The real Lebman modified 1907 (lower one) with a nonmodified regular 1907 captured with Dillinger gang in Tucson - the Lebman gun does not have its vertical grip attached: Lebman replica with custom made comp - this photo came from the customizer, Tom Wilkinson, as my camera is dead: Closeup - pretty darn good match on the comp I'd say. What it's going to look like with luck: It should be spot-on except for the lack of FA - mine will stay a semi-auto. I've got 6 of the 10-round mags so Im set. Thanks for looking. John

now that is VERY cool john! I can't wait to see the finished product. I would love to eventually see a video of you firing it. Looks like you've got a good gunsmith!

Thanks 81police - I will keep the forum updated and a video will be forthcoming with period garb. This gunsmith is pretty good - the comp is beautiful. I can't wait for the forearm. I got my camera charged - here's the gun with the completed comp and old wooden forearm: Closeup: [ John
