Hello to all!
I've lurked here a couple of times, and finally decided to come out of the woodwork.
I learned to shoot with a Remington Model 24, .22 Short, that was given to me by my grandfather, and the first Model 8 I ever saw, I bought. That was over 20 years ago, but that old .35 is still one of the coolest rifles I've ever seen.

Welcome aboard 30gov03! I got to tell you I think all the Remington products were fine, fine firearms. I'd love to snag a nice Model 16. I've got a 12C and several 8s. Glad you decided to "come out of the woodwork".

30gov03,
Welcome to the forum. I'm glad you decided to join us.
When I was a kid, my father had a remington Model 550 .22 rifle. It was the first gun I ever shot and the one my dad used to teach me the rules of safe gun handling. Since then, I have owned quite a few firearms, but some of the ones I cherish most carry the Remington brand.
