It's been cold here hanging out in the low 20s and teens. I got tierd of being house bound and decided to test out my 1907 in some colder than usual weather here in western OR. I was pleasantly surprised to get this 2" group at 125 yards. Then I went and burned about 75 rounds shooting steel plates at 75 and 150 yards. No malfunctions the old girl just runs like clockwork. I'm really enjoying having a 1907. It's becoming one of my favorite rifles to shoot and load for.

Nice shooting. What powder, bullet and specs. are you using in your reloads to give that accuracy?

I'm using 15.2 gr of IMR4227 in a turned to size 357mag case. That particular load uses a 158 gr lyman #358665 that drops a tad heavy at about 162ish and after two coats of powder coat wieghs roughly 162-165gr. I size them down to .352 in 2 steps and they fit just right. I worked loads up from 14.8-15.6 and they all functioned, but started burning cleaner and shooting straighter at 15.1gr. 15.1-15.3 seems to be what this particular gun likes. I also tried the same bullet with traditional lube technique and the results were almost identical, just smokey lol. I have a 180gr load worked up that works well also, but the 158 load is super cheap and purrs like a kitten. I figure I'm shooting for about .15 per round with this load. It feels like I'm stealing haha.
