Hi,
I am new guy to the site and wanted to say hi! I think its cool that there is a M8 forum.
My dad and I have 2 M8s( .25 and .35). I am a Sheriff's Deputy in Montana and the other day I notcied a .30 M8 in the county owned gun case in the Sheriff's personal office. I noticed a magazine (15-20 rounds).
Where or who would I contact about obtaining either a .25 or .35 magazine for the M8(prefer the .35)?

In regards to your question, the Remington Model 8 and 81 magazines are nondetachable unless modified by a gunsmith. Extended magazines such as those pictured very rarely turn up for sale.

I am interested in getting some additional information about the M8 .30 you refer to in your posting. If you would send me an email to jack1653@att.net, I would very much appreciate it. I look forward to hearing from you. Respectfully, jack1653

Hey thewett,
What part of Montanna are you in? I would like to talk with the sheriff about his Police Model 8 in .30 Rem.
