I just discovered this forum today. I have had some interest in the various self-loading arms for years. My main interests are military arms but these early rifles are quite interesting to me as well. I have acquired a few over the years..... These include one of the WRA Models 1905 in each caliber, one Model 1910, and two M1907s. Remingtons include one Model 8 in .35 Rem., and a few Mod 81s: three in .300 Savage and a police dept marked M81 with 15 round mag in .35 cal. I got the latter rifle back in the mid 1970s from a Class 3 dealer who specialized in buying old police department guns. He used to set up at funshows with a lot of Thompsons, some BARs, and several other such arms. He published a catalogue at the time with a cover picture showing a couple of men in suits holding Thompsons and BARs standing by a 1930s? car with running boards.......

Nice to have you here Roy. Please do post pictures of your early semi-autos here. Especially that Peace Officer Equipment rifle. Those are always fun to see.
