Greetings to all Self-Loader fans. Michigan, age 59, Army '69-'72, RVN '70, 5-ton Tractor-trailer driver and gunner on gun truck / gun jeep. My Grandpa had a .351. Pop sold it in the late 80's to buy a pistol, so there went my heirloom / inheritance. I got my own '07 in '99, and unlike Grandpa's, it has no pitting in the chamber and is a cop-type. I thank all contributors here (esp. the Gent who built the Wikipedia page!, got to catch & remember your name) who add to the knowledge and lore around these great old weapons. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. I'll post a pic (finally took some today) of my rifle as soon as I figure out how & where to do so. Trying to insert a link, 'here goes nothing': www.flickr.com/photos/36297970@N00/3782333246/sizes/o/

You get an "A" for effort, but no soap. Try this thread vintagesemiautorifle.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=test&action=display&thread=31: Here's the way I do it. First, you have to have a membership in a free photo hosting utility. I use Photobucket, though there are others that work. You go to Photobucket, or whatever you choose, and you upload a picture that you saved on your computer, onto the photo hosting service. Once your picture is on the photo hosting service, there is an address under it called "direct link". I use my mouse to highlight that "direct link" address and then right click. That brings up a menu. One of the choices is "Copy". I click on "Copy". Then I go to the forum where I am trying to post a picture. I click on "reply" and it brings up a reply box where you can write out your message and post your picture. Above the message is a section called "add tags". One of the "add tags" is a representation of a very small picture. I click on that "add tag" of the very small picture. That puts little "img" symbols into the reply box. Put your cursor right between the two "img" symbols and paste the "direct link" address right between those two symbols. Check and make sure that your address has a complete "img" symbol at either end of your pictures address. Then go to the bottom of the "post reply" screen and hit "preview", so you can check to see that the picture will show up in your message. If it does appear in your message, then hit "post reply" and you're done.
