Well, I've got a hankering for one of these but would like to edumacate myself about them. I can't find a copy of Henwood's book anywhere - are there other articles, books, etc. out there that I can be looking for? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try Abebooks. They may have a copy listed.

I still haven't found a copy of Henwood - the one that looked available on the Military Books website (not the Abebooks copy) was sold. However, I was able to locate two original 10-round magazines and I still haven't gotten my rifle yet. There's a big gun show next weekend, so hopefully I'll find a nice, clean shooter there.

John, I got my 1907 on GunBroker last year. There are usually several listed at any one time. www.gunbroker.com/

calfed,
Funny you should mention GB - when I didn't find one Win. 07 at the show last weekend, I went on GB and bought a nice one at a reasonable price. I'll post photos when it arrives.
Oh, and I bought a third original 10-round mag. Charles Askins apparently said you needed three of these so now I got three.

calfed,
Pig is right - what the heck I'm going to do with three 10-rounders? They will look great in the photos though.

30 quick shots. Or 31 if you start with a round in the chamber.
Just the thing for Cowboy Action Shooting, if they'll let you play. Heck, even some Texas Rangers used these guns when they first became available.
