Hi there, Did anybody know before that stripper-clips of the Remington models 8 and 81 do not fit the Belgian FN 1900 semi-auto carbine? We are talking about a width difference of just 0.2 millimeters. So, if anybody wants to get rid of a nickel plated .35 stripper-clip being too small for his model 8/81, please drop me a mail.

canuck: Just make me know how to upload an image directly and you will get one.
Hardrada55: Yes, FN stripper clips are always nickel plated - and have no markings at all.

Super! Two of my favorite firearms...and I don't have an example of either one. Yet. All I have is one round in my cartridge collection of an FN manufactured .35 Remington, though I believe you fellows on the continent are familiar with it as the 9mm Browning "carabine semiautomatique" patron. Beautiful guns. Walt

canuck: Do you like this one? Yes Sir! In fact, they are both very nice! Unfortunately for me, my government doesn't trust me with such a evil hangun such as that Both the caliber and the barrel length are considered "prohibited" here and a special "class' is needed on your licence (which I don't have) Thanks for posting the pic.

Hi all! Here comes a new picture featuring a rare box of 20 cartridges, caliber 9 mm (.35) FN Browning semi-auto. Unfortunately, stripper clips are not included

Your rifle caliber translates to(rounded off).38 caliber, you could try revolver speed strips as a possible alternative. Or you could pay a metal worker to clone you some.

This thread may be closed. Thanks to a kind US expert I finally learnt that real Remington clips fit the FN carbines, too.
