Winchester Model 07, .351 Caliber, s/n 54278. This is the rifle I chose when I decided I "needed" something other than a .30-30 for hunting. At the time I had never heard of the Model 1907/07 rifles, or even the .351 Winchester Self-Loading cartridge. I was simply taken with the little rifle's clean lines and sturdy appearance. The Remington ammo came with the rifle. Twenty-three years later the .30-30 is long since gone, the Model 07 remains, and I'm convinced I made a good choice. Jim

I really like that 351. That's a nice picture of it, too. I used to have a couple of 351s and really liked shooting them. I've got to get another one one day, and if I could find one as nice as that one, for a decent price, it'd do it quick.

Nice figure in the buttstock. Steel buttplate, sling swivels, later "police" style squared magazine release, and normal forward-located rear sight dovetail (not indicative of the 1935-introduced "police rifle" version). Overall, a nice late-production Model 07.

I do have one of these .351s and might be interested in selling it. I currently don't have a clip or at least I can't find mine. You can email me at bhportal @ gmail.com to get more information if interested or to make offer. I will be happy to provide pictures or video.
