Not sure where to post this question, but...... Whatever happened to those t-shirts that were available through Walmart? The ones that showed the hunter with the Model 8, sling snagged on a branch with a grizzly approaching.

Seasonal item. Only saw them last fall (2007). They didn't get any Remington Shirts like that this year. Only Budwieser...

I bought several when Walmart had them in 2007. I didn't see any this past year.
Just wondering.... what would it cost for this forum to have a special t-shirt made up. Perhaps we could have a poll to see how many would be interested in buying them. We could vote to choose which vintage Remington painting to use.
Wht do you guys think?

Ballpark figure around $20, plus shipping. It's pretty expensive, really. The hard part will be finding the print that can be transfered to a t-shirt. Lots of places can do it. Any sporting goods shop that makes the uniforms for little league baseball teams can do it. White and Gray are the cheapest shirts. Colors are more.

Count me in for 2-3. Pockets would be nice. I'm not worried about the color and it would be fun to have a poll to see what everyone's favorite vintage painting or print we would use.

My thinking would be to put a Remington logo (small) on the pocket, or maybe the "R" logo.
One thing I'm not sure of is royalties for using the image, whatever it may be. Also, the image itself may be hard to get. At least one that can be used and look right. A lot of stuff on the net is going to be too small, or too low in resolution.
It's possible if the images (screen printing material that is heat transfered) can be bought separately ,that they can be put on different colored shirts. Most likely this would have to be done locally. The internet sellers can, but usually at a little more cost, from what little I've seen.
I was thinking "The Right of Way" for the back, but if there are others that would be desireable, lets hear it.
If anyone has experience with this stuff, Please let us know. I'd be in for a couple, I love my model 8 shirt. Any Remington shirts, for that matter.

I wonder what rights were required for the dust jacket of the Henwood book. I presume that it is an old advertising poster. Any use for a Remington trademark would require permission from the company. I do not think that would be a problem as long as Remington knows it is not for profit. Remington may know of the supplier of the walmart sold shirts.
