I bought a "used" 10 rd mag for my .351 on ebay for $49.00. I got it, and it did not fit or work in either of my .351s. It was more than a weak spring - the fit was very sloppy. I sent it back.

Was it a real factory mag or the after market Pro-Mag? Factory mags were hand fitted to the rifles. I meant to say Triple-K mags. Lots of those floating around and sold on Ebay as originals sometimes.

It didn't have any markings on it. Also, it didn't have the quality feel of a factory mag.

It would have been a repo mag of some type ,as a 10 shot mag formed like the original one piece usually sells for well over 200 .The repo 5 shot that is availiable to me in Canada is taller and and has a sliding floor plate .I will get a pic to show the difference in a bit Peter

The aftermarket mags. are pure junk. If you want a mag. that will work get the original.

sometimes aftermarket mags are a necessary evil ,the original 10 round mags sell for more than a good + condition wsl rifle .The aftermarket mags are all that is availiable at times ,and will work when tweeked .
Not fully defending the aftermarket mags ,but there times that they are necessary to make the old rifles work as to use them as a single shot is not an option Peter
