Congratulations! That is one fine looking Standard. Let us know how she shoots. I hear the semi-automatic ejection can be rather forceful.

Nice looking gun. If you take the butt plate off there should be a mark on the wood, A or B were standard grade stocks anything else was special order. Absence of a mark is an aftermarket piece. A lyman 1 or 1.5 sight was a factory option. You did not give a clear picture of the standard sight and elevator. If you attach a photo I would be delighted to give you an opinion. I will include your gun in my serial number list. Thanks Attachments:

Thanks for the welcome. Fire15vp: The stock is marked with a "B", the sight looks to be a Lyman 1A (attached is a picture of the mounting holes in the tang) and attached is a picture of the rear sight elevator (looks homemade).

Your stock is a factory standard grade. The lyman sight was a factory option. And yes either the elevator is replaced. Very nice gun hope you enjoy it for many years.

Thanks, So, a factory standard grade stock (with comb) that has been modified/reshaped into it's current combless condition? Was the original sight elevator unique in any way? Can you attach a photo of an original so I know what I'm looking for, or do you know of a source (Numrich is out).
