It is known that Standard Arms was interested in foreign contracts and sent a demonstrator abroad to try and interest foreign governments in 1910. I was digging through some old American Rifleman magazines and found a classified ad selling an "experimental 7mm military rifle made by Standard Arms". The same seller also had another Standard, so he may have known what he was talking about. This was in the July 1934 issue, page 38

There were several made that were used in the military trials @ Springfield April 8 and June 16 1910 and other government trials. I have personally handled one of the Standard Arms military rifles. It was caliber 30/40 short made at Frankford arsenal as required by Springfield. Smith Condit Company did not participate in any trials that I can find. It took me awhile going through the records to find it. I have a picture of one of them. It resembles a G model with a smooth wood fore grip.
