Soon to be my nephew's first firearm. It's a single shot, bolt action .22 made by Keystone Sporting Arms in Pennsylvania. Overall length is 30", barrel length is 16", LOP is 11.5", and it weighs in at 2.5lbs. With it's rear peep sight this is one of the most entertaining rifles to shoot!
Pictured with a model 8 (for size comparison).

How cool is that! Probably feels like a BB gun when you carry it. We can always count on you to come up with something different. Thanks for sharing it.

I picked one of those up for my daughter's 6th birthday. It was quite a hit. She didn't want the pink one either, which was a bit of a surprise. She went with the red, white, and blue laminate that she said was "pretty". Great little guns. Just the right size for little monkeys. Accurate too. I was hitting clay pigeons at 120 yards 8 out of 10 shots from the bench. Not too shabby with my eyes and that short sight radius. Also, the sight picture looks almost identical to the aperture sights on the old Arisakas. A weird coinsidence, which I am sure I will take advantage of when she is older. I went with the one without the safety button though. I tried it out in the store, but just about every time I picked up the rifle, I managed to click it on. I decided that the manually thingying mechanism on the bolt was good enough.
