That early soft cover version of Mr. Henwood's book came out in two editions back in the mid 1990s. The first edition was smaller (dimension wise) than the second revised edition. As you will see, much of the information in the hard cover book, the one which is being sold now, is also found in the older small soft cover editions. The hard cover has more information and alot more pretty photographs. I bought the first edition from the man himself when it was advertised in the Gun List. When the 2nd edition came out, I bought it and I gave my earlier version to a gunsmith friend of mine. I also have Mr. Henwoods book, "The Forgotten Winchesters" which is basically the same format as the 2nd edition of the soft cover book.
