Chinese Jingal rampart gun

Always been fascinated by Chinese firearms and particularly the Chinese late 19th and early 20th century rampart gun commonly called a Jingal. It was a huge rifle in .60 or .75 (or larger) caliber. Originally muzzle loaders, they eventually were made with rolling block or bolt actions and fired self-contained cartridges.

Looks like a breechloading cannon, similar to ones used in 16th century Europe. The powder and ball are placed in the thing that looks like a beer mug which is then inserted into the breech and then locked in place by a metal wedge or screw. The charge is probably ignited by a percussion cap.
