Anyone collect stevens hi power lever guns? or have a source for parts.I recently bought one and it needs a small repair. They are well made guns and use the remington rimless cartridges.

I've drooled over high powers for years. Haven't found one yet which puts together the right factors of affordability and decent condition.

I have a 425 (high power) in .25 Rem. It is a family gun my Uncle gave me about 1964. I have found some parts from numrich; but parts are pretty scarce. What part do you need?

I have two Stevens 425 High Power lever guns (#4837 in .32 Rem and #1766 also in .32 Rem). Parts are scarce but they are out there.
I am researching the Stevens High Power series and developing a list of serial numbers and calibers of known guns. Most sources claim a production of 26,000 rifles from 1910-1917. However, Brophy in his Marlin book claims that only about 1,000 were manufactured. Whichever is correct, after several months of effort on several gun forums, we have so far found only 41 guns. All the guns we've listed have 4-digit serial numbers - the lowest number so far is 1050 and the highest is 5594.
If you have a Stevens 425 High Power lever gun, please post your serial number and caliber. If you know anyone with this gun please get their serial number and caliber. We may solve this mystery yet.

My Stevens Hi-Power is in .30 Rem. caliber. The # under the lever on the bottom tang is 2567 . It is not in real good shape and should be restored which I'm going to do at some point in time. I have only seen about five of these for sale myself.Keep us posted with your findings about these . Thanks BOB (8mm06)

Thanks Bob (8mm06). I've added your serial number and caliber to the list.
And thanks Dave!
We now have just 42 Stevens High Power rifles on our list. We need more numbers.

I sent an email to GUN DIGEST requesting that Stevens 425 High Power owners send me their serial numbers and calibers. They printed my request - I haven't received my issue yet, but the response has started to come in already.
