bought this really for the tang sight and mags .Bore is not perfect and the butt will need replacing as the repair is sketchy at best .Just going to reblue it as t cold blue was smeared on the receiver, it is not great ,replace stock and new spring and buffer and kick it in the bum for somebody else to enjoy next year . Its a 4 diget ser # Going to keep the spare mags and Lyman sight ,the small flip peep is still intact .

I still buy these for some reason or another .This was priced right for what it was either parts or rebuild 345cdn and the extra mags were 170cdn (515 total package). the peep is in working order but missing side lock ,it will still be a serviceable sight (will make a cover and blend it in ) extra mags at under a 100 never turn them down even if the wrong ones LOL tore it down today and put parts into solvent ,good it appears to never been apart before so all pieces present ,cleaned bore a bit and to my surprise a few pits but shiny and sharp good + condition some where in its life somebody replaced the forend and didn't fully fit it ,which is good ,but when they repaired the butt they drilled a screw hole between the tang screws to hold the stock on with a wood screw .Will weld it up and contour before hot blue so not bad all in ,the sand paper scratches will be polished out hole filled and butt replaced will be a nice presentable WSL

well look what you find when you start cleaning up -CRACK ! Never seen that before ,not worth welding as it is traveling into the top and not with the effort as I have another receiver set on hand .So looks like more spare parts for the future projects

switched out the receiver set for another first year and all parts ready for the hot blueing .The wood now ready for the true oil ,had a heavy butt and the fore end wood is thick so it matches .The butt is equip with a sling loop so attached one for the front . So all in made a nice serviceable 1907 from basically 2 because of the crack at the rear of the receiver and the pouched barrel and pitted parts gun and salvageable wood a couple of midway pics before final completion
