Well after taking apart my model 10 I found I'm missing a few parts.Im missing a bolt guide rod a buffer washer and possibly a buffer although I'm not sure about that one.I see a flared part on the bolt which has a recessed flat area with a hole in the center .Is that the buffer?I checked gun parts corp these parts are out of stock does anyone know of another source for those parts?Any help would greatly be appreciated. I did have one pleasant surprise after cleaning the bore it was bright and shiny with clean lands and groves.

Numrich has a bolt guide rod for the 1907 .351. I'm not sure if it's the same length but I'll check mine.

I can't be sure if the 401 and the 351 bolt guide rods are the same length without taking the guns apart, but they are close. I'm going to install a new spring in the 401 soon so I'll have a better idea. I'm not a machinist but I'm thinking that a bolt guide rod might not be very hard to make.

The guide rod in the 1910 .401 is .321" in diameter, and just about 9 1/2" long. You could call Numrich and ask them to measure the .351 guide rod.
