First one, my speeling suckz that is already a given though. This is not pointing fingers or anything like that but more of a curiousity. Why is it when people want to sell stuff on the net they only want to a place in their own country? Obviously some things like firearms and the like have red tape attached to get exported and imported which may just flat out scare some folks. That is actually a simple process in the right hands. I am talking more like the small gun parts that require no permits like old sights, or even non-hazmat components like unprimed brass or even bullets (component only not loaded "bullets"). The rule of thumb I use for things I sell on the net is if someone wants to pay the shipping I am happy to help them out. If I haven't dealt with them before or it is a big ticket item the money needs to trade hands first of course. The most outrageous shipment I made to date was to Mongolia of all places but in the end we were both happy campers. Just curious what your take on it is. Worried about the shipment going through customs? Interested to hear what you guys think.

Some Items have restricted shipping such as ammo and components. A real hassle to follow all the regulations as well as ban's on shipping some items like gun parts internationally. A business would almost have to have a person who handles shipping these items which would drive up the cost and maybe it would not be worth it .

If you are a private party shipping international is not that big a problem; but if you are seen as doing business internationally then you have to deal with a lot more problems and regulations. Also, if the item gets lost and you have to deal with customer dissatisfaction then that can be a BIG headache. On the other hand sellers on Ebay and GB may just have a fear of the unknown.

One Gent was down right rude when I called them about bidding on one of their firearms even when it would be legally exported and imported. I guess all sorts of folks have the interweb at their disposal just like a paper ad, you'dd run into all sorts of "interesting folk".
