I need some info on the Remington Model 16 semi-auto .22 which was only chambered in the .22 Remington Auto cartridge. It's supposed to be a take-down, but how do you do the take-down? Also I think my magazine loading "plunger" may be broken....

I haven't handled one ,if memory serves there is a plunger on the left hand side of the receiver towards the front pushed in and I think the bolt has to be pulled or locked back and it should pull forward apart ? I seen it done but didn't pay that much attention as it was at a gun show and didn't do it my self as the owner did it .Best I can recall ...

did some google and I couldn't find much or really any thing information of value on the model 16 .found some pics of some for sale and they do have a plunger in the slot on your pic.Looks like you may have to do a slow disassembly taking lots of pics so you can put it back together again.
