Blackbahart, Those are very good looking rifles. What is .360DW? I'm not familiar with that one. I'm intrigued by conversions like yours. Do these conversions let you shoot your guns more often than would reloading the conventional chamberings?

Hardrada55 ,The 360 Dan Wesson is a 357 case that is 1.4" long from starline and in the 357 barreled 1910 I load the rounds to 1.9" and the rimmed cases fit into the mag with no brass modification and run flawless .It is basically a 357 mag but a bit longer ,also this rifle will run 357 magnum off the shelf ammo as I did reduce the weight of the system so it could .
30 carbine again off the shelf ammo .338-223 just had to try it and now found a source for 180 round nose projectiles and again simple brass prep cut to shoulder .And lastly the 44 AMP brass is available from starline and projectiles easy to find.So yes these conversions are easier to load for ,and no stress when you lose the brass as it was not labour intensive or extremely expensive .
Please remember that these conversions were done to non original condition ,in various states of disrepair and corrosion ,rotten bore, ringed barrel, even a bent receiver and barrel go figure .I have been collecting these up for a while and had quite a pile of derilict wsl rifles/parts that were able to be found for less than $100/each at gun shows or private sales form people just glad to see them gone.Till they started to show up in movies and the prices upped
As a bonus I have became a proficient hand at tear down and assembly of the WSL rifle, making them function in more modern obsolete chamberings and following to completion
Cheers Peter
