Interesting article on several of the Russian semiautomatic hunting rifles developed during the Soviet era for high ranking Communist Party "big wigs". If I get any of the information wrong.....it's "google translate's" fault. It's on the second page down towards the bottom. The Russians referred to them as "self-loading hunting carbine high-end (I wonder if the phrase "high-end" is a direct translation?) souvenir execution". Very nicely executed if you ask me. I believe the Russians are hiding some first-class gunsmiths somewhere, probably in the taiga. Several rifles look like they were based off of the Winchester 100 action.
