A local shop has a Pump model M in decent shape for $325 which is probably an o.k. price but I was wondering what the model M's typically go for. This one is a 25 Rem missing the rear sight and has 2 holes on the tang for a tang sight (missing too) otherwise a average used looking Standard. Any ideas? Thank you

I would hazard a guess that $325 for a .25 Caliber Model M is a very attractive price. If you don't want it, let me know where it is.

I bought it since I lean towards odd stuff and I like the the 25 Rem. It has a good looking bore, just needs a rear sight. I suppose these don't show up very often and was curious about the pricing

My rersearch indicates that of the three calibre the 25 is the rarest in both models, It took me many years to complete my grouping with a 25 M. The price is about right for the described condition.. I would like to add its serial number to my list.

The serial number is 1166 (all matching numbers), I plan to shoot it when I have some time in the next couple weeks, I have a sight I bought/ordered that looks like a Standard sight but if it isn't I'll modify one to work.
