I recently adopted my grandfathers Model 81 from my brother. Only problem, he seems to have lost the Kreiger modified clip that was with the weapon last we shot it. Anyone know of any out for sale, or a good place to start looking. I've checked gun broker and nearly all the "Cretified Parts and Repair" listed on Remington's website. I'd like to get this back in action for deer season but it seems like the clips are hard to come by. Any suggestions?

BT,
not only are spare magazines hard to come by, they're practically non-existent. I've seen 1 in the last several years. Kreiger individually fitted the factory magazine to the rifle it came with, not very often do you come across one with 2 magazines. A man named Pete in New York can make Krieger pattern magazines. His work is very nice. You can contact him at the email below. Let him know "Cam" sent you.
