Hardrada55 Terrific job - your research, writings, and the pictures! Wonderful. (I love history, it's what got me into guns.) I too wonder about the prop on the grips but did not think far enough to realize there was history behind it - it will definitely motivate me to check things out more next time. (I will admit, I've always wonder how you came by your handle for the forum?) Thanks, for the post - a job well done.

Very Nice. Notice that it has "Plus Ultra" grips. I wonder if they are original or reproduction. I know back about 2002 Collectors Firearms had a "Plus Ultra" on their site for about $900 and it didn't last but a couple of days. This one is a "little" more expensive
