Hello all. Our inaugural "Semiauto Chatter" chat session will be held tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. central standard time. I hope you can make it and I know even if you can't, you will be there the next time we get together on-line. I suggest we hold "Semiauto Chatter" chat sessions at different times in order to make this available to different groups of members each time. Your ideas and suggestions are solicited and appreciated. Regards, Walt

I never got in on the chat at the previous website, so I am unfamiliar with what to do to get into the chatroom. Is there a download for an instant messenger type software required or can we just go to the correct webpage to be involved? Also, forgive my ignorance, but what would be the Pacific time including daylight savings time for the chat to start? I am guessing two hours sooner here in Oregon, but am not positive.

Hey guys, Look right under the picture of the horseman at the top of the page. You'll see a string of options, "home"; "help"; "search" etc. The last one should say "chat". Click on that. It should load a chat page. Just log in with your screen name. Please, let me know how it works for you. We definitely had issues last time and I don't really expect anything different this time. Some people had major problems. We'll just have to try to "work the bugs out" as we go. Walt

Gentleman, I will not be able to be there for the Chat tonight. My father, a WWII Navy and Korean War Army veteran is close to death. The nurses gave him less than 24 hours. So I need to be with my family. I apologize. Please have a good chat without me. Regards, Walt

Did anyone actually do any chatting during the planned session? I opened up the chat window and it appeared that no one was there. I am assuming that everyone was busy with other things, but I guess it is possible that it was malfunctioning. My guess is that it was working fine as there were no others on the site according to the counter at the bottom of the page.

I wasn't able to make the first chat either. I enjoy them and intend to make the next one.
