Just wondered if you can lower the internal hammer without dry firing a win. 1907 for storage? Read somewhere that you shouldn't dry fire older guns for fear of breaking firing pins on original guns.

You could store it dissasambled, that way you can lower the hammer with your thumb.

It shouldn't hurt to dry fire it once should it? I probably won't shoot it again.

get a 38/357 snap cap and turn down the rim or a fired 351 case should work
