Very nice pic. I'm glad someone is still posts every once in a while. I've noticed many of the old pics have been lost due to aging issues with hosting sites. I wish they could be saved here! I'll post mine when it's done getting reconditioned and made operative.

I got an early production (3rd year ca.1908) Remington Autoloading Repeating Rifle a few months ago. It came with a box and a half of 30 Remington ammo but I am on the lookout for more. I made a YouTube video on the conversion of 30 Win brass in a drill press with hand files. I have converted over 100 30 Winchester cases to 30 Remington and loaded light loads to fireform the new cases. I could not resist the urge to get a model 14 chambered in the same 30 Rem. They are not commanding exorbitant prices on auction sites. The scarcity of shootable ammo is probably the reason. The barrel is marked 30 30 REM. I read that Winchester sued Remington and make them stop using the 30 30 moniker. I'm glad to see others that like these old autoloaders. bob
